As the Chauffeur Manager, you will play a key role in achieving this goal by recruiting, training, and mentoring new and existing chauffeur staff, maintaining our fleet of vehicles, and ensuring compliance with DOT regulations.

Responsibilities:
Recruit, interview, and hire new chauffeur staff for Axis Coach Transportation Conduct on-the-job and classroom training for new hires, including driving skills, safety, and customer service Develop and maintain policy and training manuals for Axis Coach Transportation chauffeur staff Conduct regular meetings and recurring training sessions for Axis Coach Transportation chauffeur staff Perform quality control inspections, including spot checks and daily review of safety events and HOS logs Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and maintain fleet of vehicles for Axis Coach Transportation Manage chauffeur time off requests, track attendance and schedules for Axis Coach Transportation Act as a direct point of contact for driving staff and communicate any updates to policies and procedures for Axis Coach Transportation Schedule chauffeurs to effectively cover 24/7 staffing requirements, with a focus on special events and groups for Axis Coach Transportation Manage day-to-day operations, issues, performance, and concerns for Axis Coach Transportation chauffeur staff Be available for CDL trips as a last line of defense for Axis Coach Transportation Answer phones and assist clients to support the reservations department at Axis Coach Transportation Design and maintain employment ads to develop a strong candidate pipeline for Axis Coach Transportation
Qualifications:
Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A or B required for Axis Coach Transportation Minimum 2-4 years of commercial driving experience with clean driving record (MVR) for Axis Coach Transportation Passenger and Air Brake Endorsements required for Axis Coach Transportation Must be at least 25 years of age for Axis Coach Transportation 2-4 years of management experience in the transportation industry for Axis Coach Transportation HR experience preferred but not required for Axis Coach Transportation Strong communication and interpersonal skills for Axis Coach Transportation Passion for customer service and willingness to go above and beyond for clients at Axis Coach Transportation Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed for Axis Coach Transportation Physical Requirements:
