Job Description:
The Manufacturing Technician B will provide support to the production line with unit alignment, assembly, and test.
Essential
Responsibilities:
oFollow and comply with documents such as work instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
oAssemble, align, and test, systems, components for optics assemblies and laser assemblies following specified work instructions and procedures to ensure finished product meets established operational and cosmetic requirements oWork with RTV, epoxy, and other bonds/adhesives oComplete fine/complex assemblies with small components and apply bond/adhesives potentially with use of a microscope oMake fine adjustments while simultaneously monitoring computer/screen output of unit results oOperate complex active alignment stations and tooling oUse, read, and interpret oscilloscopes and other measurement devices/tools oWorking knowledge of electronic, optical and mechanical assemblies oPerform basic computer activities with programs provided oIdentify, utilize, and perform preventive maintenance on tools and test equipment as required oDemonstrate comprehension of engineering prints and schematics.
oReport deviations from standard to appropriate resource for review, instruction and authorization and obtains quality inspection when appropriate oSupport Lean manufacturing efforts through continuous process improvement oMaintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures oApply considerable math skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

Qualifications:
oRequires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.

Qualifications:
o2 years'
related manufacturing experience oComputer skills required (Excel, Word); LabView program preferred oDemonstrated proficiency at operating 25%-50% of work stations as documented by training records The salary range for this role is $43,000 - $80,000.
