Job Description:
The Manufacturing Technician assembles, aligns, and tests systems, components, and subassemblies following specified work instructions and procedures to ensure finished product meets established operational and cosmetic requirements.
Essential
Responsibilities:
oFollow and comply with documents such as work instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
oWork with RTV, epoxy, and other bonds/adhesives oComplete fine/complex assemblies with small components and apply bond/adhesives potentially with use of a microscope oMake fine adjustments while simultaneously monitoring computer/screen output of unit results oOperate complex active alignment stations and tooling oUse, read, and interpret oscilloscopes and other measurement devices/tools oWorking knowledge of electronic, optical and mechanical assemblies oPerform basic computer activities with programs provided oIdentify, utilize, and perform preventive maintenance on tools and test equipment as required oDemonstrate comprehension of engineering prints and schematics.
oReport deviations from standard to appropriate resource for review, instruction and authorization and obtains quality inspection when appropriate oSupport Lean manufacturing efforts through continuous process improvement oMaintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures oApply considerable math skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

Qualifications:
oRequires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 to 3 years of prior related experience.
Preferred
Qualifications:
o1-2
years related experience or equivalent technical education/background oModerate computer skills required (Excel, Word); LabView user interface a plus oDemonstrated ability to complete 1-3 operations within a given work cell oTeamwork - Exhibits objectivity and openness to others' views; contributes to building a positive team spirit; accepts feedback from others; asks for and offers help when needed oConflict Resolution - Maintains emotional control and interacts with others in a professional and respectful manner oChange Management - Adapts to changes in the work environment; able to deal The salary range for this role is $35,500 - $66,500.
