Job Description:
The Manufacturing Technician will play a role in the production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety in a manufacturing environment.
They will work closely with engineers and production managers to execute manufacturing processes, troubleshoot material issues if required, and maintain a smooth workflow.
Essential
Responsibilities:
o Assemble, align, and test, systems, components and subassemblies following specified work instructions and procedures to ensure finished product meets established operational and cosmetic requirementso Working knowledge of electronic, optical and mechanical assemblieso Perform basic computer activities with programs providedo Identify, utilize, and perform preventive maintenance on tools and test equipment.
o Demonstrate comprehension of engineering prints and schematics.
o Report deviations from standard to appropriate resource for review, instruction and authorization and obtains quality inspection when appropriateo Support Lean manufacturing efforts through continuous process improvemento Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety procedureso Apply considerable math skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
o Cultivate a culture that assures effective cross functional team worko Perform job duties in a manner that complies with environmental, health and safety regulations, policies and procedureso Demonstrate ethical and professional behavior in accordance with company valueso Consistently at work and on-timeo Demonstrate proficiency at operating 25%-50% of work stations as documented by training recordso Participate in a variety of meetings, committees and task force groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve issues and maintains specific level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements and policiesBasic
Qualifications:
o Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
Preferred
Qualifications:
o Computer skills required (Excel, Word); LabView program preferredo Ability to work independently and as part of a teamo Knowledge of manufacturing process and quallity control procedureso Solder experience preferredThe salary range for this role is $63,500 - $118,500.
