Our client in southern New Hampshire is looking to add a manufacturing Engineer to their staff on a contract-to-hire basis. Candidates interested in the position should have experience with new product introduction, design for manufacturability and design for test. Responsibilities for the Manufacturing Engineer
Defines and promotes Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) characteristics on New Product Introduction NPI teams. Determine and rank manufacturing readiness prior to NPL
Analyzes work flow in manufacturing environment and identifies process improvement opportunities. Ranks opportunities and createsimplementation plan for process quality and reliability improvements, with measurable Return on Investment (ROI) for reductions in process time, providing a safe process, making throughput yield and lead time improvements.
Creates Value Stream Maps (VSM), identifies 7 deadly wastes, leads Lean 6S work cell audits and proposes countermeasures.
Operations' liaison with Design Engineering and Customer Support for sustaining engineering change orders which affect products and services.
Perform failure analysis using PFMEA and FMEA standard techniques
Review and rank outside resources' capabilities when recommending capital equipment expenditures. Explore and identify new techniques for adoption within Operations.
Responsible for process development and updates, including the creation of assembly procedures and tool and fixture designs used in the production of company products.
Define, train, and update Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) procedures for relevant equipment and tooling.
Requirements for the Manufacturing Engineer
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline plus at least 2 years experience as an Associate Engineer or an equivalent experience profile.
Experienced in a NPI environment
Lean/Six Sigma experience

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
