Quality Engineer I
Support lead QE in
failure analysis and corrective action efforts
review and validate of production test equipment
review and verification of work instructions, redlines, Engineering Change Orders (ECO), and route sheets for all assigned product lines
determination of necessary inspections/tests as part of ECO validation prior to approval
product disposition
participate in training and coaching of Inspection personnel in product requirements
performing DOE, FMEA and Gage R&R studies
establishing process controls and product test requirements, monitor product performance
Basic SPC/Data analysis skills
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a high volume manufacturing organization with preference to Government/Military products
Knowledge of Quality Engineering practices and principles including problem solving, failure analysis, root cause/corrective action preferred
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma practices desired, Green Belt certification is a plus
Must be a self-starter and able to adjust quickly to changing priorities and assignments
Must have a proven track record working in a team environment
Ability to communicate and interface effectively with internal and external Customers is a must
A 4-year technical degree a plus
