Maintenance Technician
This position is a general facilities maintenance position that will require the individual to complete all facility upkeep tasks. Will also perform planned preventative maintenance on manufacturing and building equipment. In addition, may perform work in two or more of the maintenance trades:
carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair, electrical, sheet metal fabrication, and welding. The successful candidate will be flexible with their schedule and may train and work on both first and second shift and may need to respond to emergencies during off hours.
2-4 year's experience in at least two of the following trades:
Electrical, Bldg/Grounds Maintenance, Mechanical, or Plumbing.
Successful previous experience in the maintenance and repair of equipment.
High School or GED.
Vocational or relevant training in at least one of the following trades:
Electrical, Bldg/Grounds Maintenance, Mechanical, or Plumbing.
Requires comprehensive knowledge of preventative and general maintenance; installation of factory equipment and machines; building maintenance related to masonry, carpentry, pipe fitting, painting.
Ability to work from engineering drawings
Basic knowledge of building codes.
